About this deal

Besides those two gross moments, I loved the book, the writing was easy to read and I loved Bristol and jagger, and her mom!! Gosh I loved her so much. sweet regret was an emotionally charged, heartbreakingly beautiful second chance romance with an abundance of feels. i couldn’t get enough of bristol and vince and of their whirlwind of a well fought second chance. they both deserved all the happiness in the world and i’m so glad they made it through. Vince and Bristol’s characters were so well written and their chemistry was undeniable from the start. I had a few favorite moments/things: 1) Vince’s character development!!! Love to see it 🥲 2) What’s better than a “my wife” moment?? A single-dad forced-proximity stand-alone romance from New York Times best-selling author K. Bromberg. It gets off to a strong start and there is a good deal of tension building up to firstly, Vince and Bristol meeting again after seven years , then to the big reveal of Jagger which I have to say was done spectacularly well. My heart was skipping beats. In between this you have a truly damaged soul which is Vince and it is a result of his abusive childhood. Each time the book had a dark moment, it was beautifully balanced with something funny or the pure delight that was Jagger. There is a scene where Jagger explains why his Daddy isn't in his life;

My heart jumps out of my chest as I scan the shadows of my room for whatever just yanked me from sleep. I scramble out of bed, bleary-eyed and anxious. With a glance toward my bedroom door to make sure it’s shut, I pull the curtain aside and open the window as quietly as possible. We already talked about this. Planned this. You’re going to go with me. Play in the local clubs wherever I go and try to be seen there. No one thought we’d last a month, yet here we are. It’ll be hard but we’ll make it work. We always have.” Recovering from a traumatic event, a summer in the small town of Redemption Falls was the perfect solution for him. For Crew Madden needs to find a place to recover.With her imagination always in overdrive, she is currently scheming, plotting, and swooning over her latest hero. You can find out more about him or chat with Kristy on any of her social media accounts. The easiest way to stay up to date on new releases and upcoming novels is to sign up for her newsletter ( http://bit.ly/254MWtI) or text KBromberg to 77948 to receive text alerts when a new book releases. Despite the groupies, the success, the fun, life under the bright glare of fame and fortune isn’t enough. Seven years ago, Bristol and Vince rekindled their situationship for one night. However, one night was all it took for Bristol’s life to be changed forever. And then they get another chance, a second chance, but that doesn’t work out either, heart wrenching as it was, it still wasn’t meant to be in that moment of time.

I loved the Synopis of this book. But this was utterly disappointing to me. This was the first time that I believed, that the h was correct in hiding her pregnancy from the H. Because if this was real, and I was her, I would've done the same. 🙄🙄 I—I don’t understand.” Emotion balls in my throat and chills chase over my skin. “You can’t go. We have plans.” I shake my head as if the action will help this make sense. It doesn’t. “But you—”Tenny is running and hiding from her past and finds herself landing in the small town of Redemption Falls. She is renting a small cabin on a ranch outside of town. Her landlord, who lives in a separate house on the same property, leaves his ranch in the care of his nephew, Crew, for the summer. Crew and his twin tween girls move in and start cleaning the place up. The twins introduce Crew and Tenny by planning a dinner together. Crew and Tenny get to know each other and feelings start developing. Crew is battling some mental demons while Tenny is battling the demons of her past. Will this keep them apart? Bristol is an independent girl boss. Say what you wanna say, but truthfully, I stand by the idea that her making the decision to keep Jagger a secret was the best. Would I sleep with his father after having him, knowing I have no intentions of sharing his existence? Probably not, but it was for the plot. While I, like Vince, wish she stood her ground with her boss, a lot of us women have been there, done that. It’s a lot easier said than done.

Review: I'm not gonna lie this cover is what first drew me into this book! Um...HELLO!😏 Then I kept seeing such good things about it, add in the Single Dad trope(which I am LOVING right now), and I knew I had to dive in! This is my favorite K. Bromberg book to date! I even liked how the secret baby angle was handled. It wasn’t the cause of a third-act breakup, it was an emotional new beginning that took time and emotion to get through. And the result was the ultimate swoony happy ending. Also by this author: Driven, Fueled, Down Shift, Sweet Cheeks, Sweet Rivalry, The Player, The Catch, Cuffed, Control, Resist, Reveal, Hard to Handle, Flirting with 40, Hard to Hold, Hard to Score, Hard to Lose, Hard to Love , Last Resort, On One Condition, Final Proposal , Until You, Off the Grid The best time to read a book depends on your personal schedule and preferences. Here are some suggestions: Something is different when their paths cross this time. Both are holding tightly to secrets that threaten to tear them apart. Isn’t that always how their story has gone?

Sweet Regret Summary

Fast forward to now, and Vince has recently been removed from his band, is working on fixing up his image, and is in the process of writing a solo album. When he becomes the newest client at Bristol’s firm, the pair are forced to talk for the first time since that night. imo they treat the mmc (vince) like a child and let him get away w so much. he treated his best friend like crap and barely apologized to him and the best friend just brushes it under the rug like nothing happened. Don’t be ridiculous.” I grab his head in both of my hands and stare into those green eyes that are so light they’re almost translucent. “You’re all I need. You’re everything to me.” I understood the whole troubled childhood, abusive father etc that Vince (H) had and was going through, but he did not deserve Bristol (h). He didn't deserve chances after chances from her, he was just so self destructive. 🙄 Also I got that he had issues to do with his childhood in his twenties, but then he was 30, WITH THE SAME ISSUES. With the same self destructiveness, that it was just annoying and frustrating to read about. Such a miserable idiot.
